It’s Viral

Sharing

Yesterday, around the country, flags were flown at half-staff, a sad acknowledgement of the atrocities on 9/11/2001.

In preparation for the 15th anniversary, students at a California college put up signs, emblazoned with the motto “Never Forget.” At least one faculty member took it upon herself to rip the signage down. Perhaps believing in blowback, her excuse had something to do with the posters needing a stamp from authorities in a “free speech area.”

Hey, I believe 9/11 had something to do with blowback, too. But trying to squelch speech rather than add to it seems like the wrong way to go.

In any case, the history teacher saw no problem suppressing the motto “Never Forget,” as if she were not in the “never forget” business.

Then, yesterday, on 9/11, Hillary “Never Admit” Clinton fell into wooziness at a memorial service. She hurriedly left the madding crowd. Yet, somebody recorded her stumbling, her knees buckling, being physically helped into her van.

For months now, her “conspiracy theorist” political enemies have been speculating about her persistent coughing, apparent confusions, and maniacal laughing fits. Now incontrovertible proof that something was wrong.

After going dark for 90 minutes, her campaign issued a statement that Mrs. Clinton had become “overheated.” Hours later, her doctor announced she’d been diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday.

Was it bacterial? Chemical? Viral?

No specifics.

And it raises more questions than it answers.

On 9/11/2016, what became news was Hillary’s ill health. That news, at any rate, has gone viral. And will probably linger, adding yet another dimension to a strange presidential campaign year.

But, as the history teacher should have asked, are we learning anything?

This is Common Sense. I’m Paul Jacob.

…. as the history teacher should have asked, are we learning anything …?

Yep.

That the posing-as-“libertarian,” Gary “Aleppo” Johnson and Weld, are a couple of common-garden fascissocialist Leftard narcissists, whose effect — and regardless of what they say are their “intentions” — is to be but stalking horses, for the “Democrats?”

And which effect, when combined with the “Democrats” inherent, systemic and massive electoral, elections and voter fraud, may well be to throw the election to the very worst “candidate” even “Democrats” have ever dared to run.

Brian Richard Allen. I disagree with your and are calling them all day lining them up tom premise, your talking points and your conclusion.
right now we in Texas have 0ver 50,000 volunteers and we are calling 9and calling and calling0 see what they want to do. all going well. by far they are interested in Gary Johnson as tho not a “purist libertarians” is from past actions, fair, honest, attentive to detail and honestly strives to do what is market oriented and will have the least unintended consequences.t. So far I have yet to speak with anyone, nor have the others calling, where the primary reason is not that they do not like either candidate for fairly solid reasons

As far as A…Leppo, it isa weird acronym, a tree, a new Leggo toy, or a hybrid leopard with an Ostrich. After the strange manner in which the pronunciation was made, Gary acquitted him self well, touching on the most important points. .It is indeed a tangled mess where we have supported both sides against the other, then weapons go to the wrong people, we have blow back and things are worse than they were before. The bombastic Trump might get us into war, and Hillary has shown no hesitation to do so.

If you have ever been around anyone diagnosed with pneumonia, then you know that fever, sweating, chest pain, bluish lips and nails, labored breathing, chills, etc. are very common. Another listing is pneumothorax, which has as causes– “high-altitude flying, lung abscess or emphysema, asthma–causes related to activity occur most often in ‘healthy’ individuals.” Maybe her new plane is not good for her! Maybe those flying with her should be heading for the ER!

Thanks, Gramma.

Brian — For the first time in any poll, and I’ve seen a lot of them, yesterday I noticed that a poll in NH showed Trump did better WITHOUT Johnson and Stein in the poll. Every other poll that I have reviewed shows Trump does better and Hillary worse when Johnson and Stein are included. Yet, I’ve yet to have a Democrat argue that a vote for Johnson is a vote for Trump.

Perhaps that is because I know more Rs than Ds, but I actually suspect it is because the Rs take the votes of libertarians for granted — as if we belong to the GOP — and Dems don’t.

Why does the inclusion of Johnson & Stein in polls (and presumably the election) help Trump and hurt Hillary? I think Trump people are more committed (which polling suggests). But I don’t think the many iffy Clinton voters in a two-way poll ever become Trump voters. They know him — he has 100% name ID — and don’t like him.

The truth is that strategically, the Johnson/Weld campaign is a plus for Trump.

So sorry about my first paragraph. Do not know how to correct after posting on Paul’s site. I did proof read but some strange things happened so I must have giggled the lap top. 4
