Think Freely Media presents Common Sense with Paul Jacob

I’m beginning to feel sorry for Oklahoma.

That may seem a little strange to regular readers. They know that Oklahoma Attorney General Drew Edmondson is prosecuting me, along with two other activists, for work on a 2005 petition drive to cap state spending. He’s trying to throw us in prison for ten years.

This legal assault is “unjust” and “politically-motivated.” Those words aren’t mine: An Oklahoma City University law professor argued that this prosecution is “unjust,” and a state senator charged the AG’s actions are “politically-motivated.”

Since Edmondson began his chilling attack on the right to petition one’s government, poor Oklahoma has been compared to some horribly tyrannical regimes. An editorial in Forbes asked, “Has Oklahoma Been Annexed by North Korea?” A Wall Street Journal editorial connected the Sooner State to the kind of repression practiced in Pakistan.

And now, columnist Paul Mulshine with the New Jersey Star Ledger condemns Edmondson, saying Russia’s Vladimir Putin “could learn a thing or two from the Oklahoma boys.”

But wait a second. There are great people in Oklahoma. They don’t support this outrageous abuse of power.

As those of us threatened in Oklahoma finally have our preliminary hearing, I’m confident that this vicious attack has awoken Oklahomans . . . and Americans. Eyes wide open, Americans in Oklahoma and elsewhere will fight to protect the initiative process.

This is Common Sense. I’m Paul Jacob.

Dear Paul, WHY isn’t there a move to IMPEACH Edmonson? Also the prosecutor, if possible. If you did this, you’d strengthen your prilimary hearing, because NOTHING…”gets the attention” of judges that may be working on your case, than impeachment proceedings against ANOTHER judge, because impeachment is the ONLY thing judges these days, fear. They are little “Dukes/Princes” running their legal “fife-doms” otherwise, and Paul, if you CAN’T impeach them,–don’t they already OWN you?

I disagree with Paul’s comment “I’m confident that this vicious attack has awoken Oklahomans … ”

A handfull are awake but the super majority of OKIES are asleep and loving it that way.

Burn the flag OKIES will fight, burn the U.S. Constitution they will be quiet and say don’t wake me.

Paul, if you give us a phone number for the office of this tyrant we will let him feel our wrath….again and again.

This has certainly gotten my attention, Paul, and no, Edmondson does not represent the vast majority of Oklahomans on this. I trust that he’ll finally have the good sense to dismiss this ridiculous case this week. Word is, he’d like to run for governor, and this is a decision will follow him right into that campaign.

What a great campaign slogan: I didn’t give a damn about you as AG, but as gov, I’ll be your best friend. I may even listen to what you have to say! (Note: “may,” not “will.”)

In my hole life I’ve never seen such blaten open attacks on opposite partiesto get complete rule or dictatorship from an incoming president.Hopefully my life path is diminishing and I believe so is the good old USA. I’m 87
